HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following desdribed improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H_244 Seventy-fourth ( 74th) Street and Seventy-fifth (75th)
Street from Harding Avenue to Collins Avenue, to be
paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved to a
width of twenty ( 20) feet with a bituminous wearing
surface on an eight (8) inch rock base .
As said Streets and Avenues are shown on plats recorded
in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (41) Plat Book
Thirty-four (34), Page Four (4) , Plat Book Thirty-one (31) ,
Page Forty ( 40) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Streets and Avenues are named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the
Preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and
publication of notices, the Preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstract, etc. , and any other expenses necessayy
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-244, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-244.
