WHITEWAY IMRROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-19 BOTH SIDES OF WASHINGTON AVENUE : From First (1st) Street
to Lincoln Road.

To be improved with/whiteway lighting system of
ornamental luminaires at approximately ninety (90)
feet apart on each side on the existing ornamental
posts.
As said Avenue, Street and road are shown on Pl�,.ts
recorded in Pitt Book Two ( 2) , Page Thirty-eight (38) ,
Plat Book Twenty-one (21. ) , Page Twenty-six ( 26) ,
Plat Book Seven (7) , Page Forty-eight `48) , Plat Book
Two ( 2) , Page E' ghty-one (81) , Plat Bpok Three (3) ,
Page Eleven (11) , Plat Book Two ( 2) , rage Fifty-six ( 56) ,
Plat Book Six (6) , Page Seventeen (17) , Plat Book Seven
(?1 Page One Hundred Forty-five ( 145) : Plat Book Nine
(91 , Page One Hundred Forty-seven (147) , Plat Book Two
(2 , Page Seventy-seven, and in Plat Book Six (6) , Page
Thirty-four, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the prepara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount
to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-19, and the Droperty against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as WW-19.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 6th DAY OF November A.D. 1940.
