A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF NOBLE H.
PARKER, REALTOR, TO SELL TO THE CITY
OF MIAifI BEACH LOT 17, BLOCK 111,
OCEAN BEACH ADDITION NO. 3.
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of November, 1940, there was sub—
mitted to the City Council of said City, the following proposal:
"Nov. 11, 1940.
City Council of Miami Beach,
City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida.
Gentlemen:
I am authorized to sell you Lot 17, Block 111, Ocean
Beach #3, Miami Beach, Florida for the sum of $11,000.
Terms of sale to be cash and sale to be completed on or
before 60 days from date of this letter.
Owner of lot agrees to furnish warranty deed conveying
clear title acceptable to purchaser. Lot is to be free
of all encumbrances. Taxes are to be prorated as of date
of closing,
Lot is sold subject to a lease now existing on said lot.
Amount of lease averages $900.00 a year and runs over the
next three and a half years.
Action should be taken at once by the Council so that I
can definitely state to the owner that the lot is sold. as
I know delay would irobably lose the opportunity of getting
this lot, at the above price, therefore let me have your
instructions by Wednesday or Thursday of this week, if
possible.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOI 'ED by the city Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said proposal be accepted
under the terms and conditions and provisions of Section 26 of the
City Charter of the City of Miami Beach as amended in 1925; that the
Mayor and City Clerk of said. City are hereby authorized to execute
such documents as may be necessary to carry this resolution into
effect and that they report their acts and doings relative thereto
to the said City Council.
