SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
• That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-99 A Five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the east side
of Washington Avenue from Twenty-first 21st) Street
to a point approximately one hundred thirty-five (135)
feet south of the southerly line of said Street.
As said Avenue and Street are shown on a Plat recorded
in Plat Book Six ( 6) , Page One Hundred Two (102) of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as
said Washington Avenue is named and designated in Ordinance
No. 303.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the prepara-
tion of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and °roper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to
be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-99, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District SK-99.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th DAY OF November A.D. 1940.
