RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY TO ISSUE
DUPLICATE CITY TAX CERTIFICATES ISSUED
TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH AND ASSIGNED
BY THE SAID CITY OF MIAMI BEACH TO ELEANOR
C. DONNELLY.
WHEREAS, it appears from the affidavit of Eleanor C. Donnelly
• that she has lost City Tax Sale Certificates, as follows, to—wit:
Certificate No. 761, dated September 5, 1932
" No. 836 " August 7, 1933
and,
WHEREAS, the said Eleanor C. Donnelly has asked for the issuance
of duplicate tax sale certificates thereof and has signified her
willingness to indemnify E. B. Leatherman, Clerk of the Circuit
Court in and for Dade County, Florida, and his successors in office
against any loss occasioned by the issuance of said duplicate tax
sale certificates;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida,
That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized to issue
duplicate tax sale certificates to Eleanor C. Donnelly covering
the property described in the original tax sale certificates set
forth in the preamble of this resolution, upon the said Eleanor C.
Donnelly filing bond to protect the Circuit Clerk of Dade County,
Florida, against any loss that might occur by reason of the reap—
pearance of the original certificates.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 27th day of November, A. D. , 1940.
