WHEREAS, the City Council , by r,,., ;lotion pr'.ssed
and adopted on the27th day of November 1940 , ordered the
Hi hwa Improvement H-253
District
_X53 and has prepared an( filed with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of su:'i: improvement
and an estimate of the cost thereof, inclu::ing an estimate
of the cost of the incidental expenses of raid Improvement
and whereas due notice by publication as required by the
City Charter has been made that the City Council would on
thellth day of December 1940, at the City Hall in said City
at 10 :00 o ' clock A. M. , receive and hear objections of all
persons interested to the confirmation of said resolution
ordering said improvement , and no objections having been
presented at the time and place aforesaid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution
of said City Council ordering said Highway
Improvement H-253 District H-253 e ad the same
is hereby confirmed, and an appropriation of $4090.90
is hereby authorized to be set up from Current
Fund Surplus the City Council hereby
declaring Its intention to proceed with City forces without
contract.

1940 .
