RESOLUTION NO. 5109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA,
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF RUTH ALBERTA
CLARK, ATTORNEY FOR MRS. HELEN CUTTEN,
TO SELL TO THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
LOT 2, BLOCK 35, AMENDED PLAT GOLF
COURSE SUBDIVISION.
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of January, 1941, there was submitted
to the City Council of said City, the following proposal:
"December 30, 1940.
Honorable Claude A. Renshaw
City Manager
Miami Beach, Florida
Re: Lot 2, Block 35, Golf Course Subdivision
Dear Mr. Renshaw:
Confirming my conversation of today with Mr. Robillard con-
cerning the above property, I have been authorized to state that
Mrs. Helen Cutten, the owner of the above lot , will sell the same
to the City for $2, 500. in cash, the City to assume all tax liens
and unpaid taxes against the property of every sort and description
to date of closing.
I shall appreciate your advising me as soon as the City Council
has decided upon this matter.

NOW , THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that said proposal be accepted under the
terms and conditions and provisions of Section 26 of the City Charter
of the City of Miami Beach as amended in 1925; that the Mayor and
City Clerk of said City are hereby authorized to execute such documents
as may be necessary to carry this resolution into effect and that they
report their acts and doings relative thereto to the said City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, A. D. , 1941.
