International Conference of Police Chaplains Conference

The purpose of this Letter to the Commission is to invite the Mayor and Commissioners to
the International Conference of Police Chaplains Banquet on January 8~, 2003. The
International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC) serves all Law Enforcement
Chaplains. ICPC supports volunteer and paid chaplains, and aids law enforcement
agencies in developing their chaplaincy programs. Rabbi Pinchas Weberman, our Police
Department Chaplain, is the ICPC Conference Coordinator for 2003.
The ICPC provides its members with educational opportunities in training seminars and
materials, The training seminars allow chaplains to become certified bythe ICPC, and gain
advanced training in the many areas of law enforcement chaplaincy.
Please join me in attendance at this complimentary function in support of our Police
Chaplain program.
