Subject: Miami Beach Golf Club Grand Ribbon Cutting Attached please find an invitation cordially inviting you to attend the ribbon cuffing of the newly constructed Miami Beach Golf Club on December 17, 2002, at 10:00 A.M. This event will mark the completion of the $6.5 million golf course construction and the beginning of a new era of golf on Miami Beach. The construction of the new clubhouse and related facilities are currently anticipated to begin this month. In advance of being fully operational the Miami Beach Golf Club will "soft open" for V.I.P. play December 18-20, 2002. During this period, limited tee times will be offered to various groups including but not limited to residents who have joined as club members, the MayoCs Ad Hoc Golf Committee, the Golf Advisory Board, Miami Beach hotels staff (general managers, concierges), marketing and sales staff from the Greater Miami Convention and Visitor's Bureau and of course, our Mayor and Commission. Should you be interested in experiencing the Miami Beach Golf Club first-hand during the V.I.P. period please contact this office and arrangements will be made for you and three guests to play a round. The Miami Beach Golf Club will be open to the public for play on Saturday, December 21,2002. So don your golf attire and join us in cuffing the ribbon on the spectacular new Miami Beach Golf Club!
