The purpose of this LTC is to update the Mayor and City Commission on the status of Request for
Qualifications (RFQ) No. 2018 -187 -WG, which seeks to establish an agreement with a qualified firm
for an urban forestry master plan.
The City will receive proposals pursuant to this RFQ on Thursday, May 24, 2018. The responsive
proposals will be reviewed by the Evaluation Committee in accordance with the criteria established
in the RFQ.
lam considering appointing the following individuals to serve on the Evaluation Committee:
• Michael Atkin, Superintendent, Greenspace Division, Public Works Department, City of
Miami Beach
• Paresh Deonarinesingh, Civil Engineer 1, Public Works Department, City of Miami Beach
• Cheryl H. Jacobs, Resident
• Omar Leon, Urban Forester, Environment and Sustainability Department, City of Miami
Beach
• Carmen Sanchez, Deputy Director, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
• Enrique Nunez, Senior Planner, Planning Department, City of Miami Beach
• Justin Velez, Resident
