HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BACH,FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
PUBLIC THOROUGHFARE as follows :
Commencing at a point which is on the westerly line of Byron
Avenue and the northerly line of Haynsworth Bead-. Subdivision:
thence northerly along a line which is parallel with the west-
erly line of the twenty (20) foot alley lying westerly of
Collins Avenue and in A ltos Del Mar Number Two for a distance
of thirteen hundred thirty-five and twenty seven one hundredths
(1335.27) feet, more or less, to a point on the southerly line
of that tract of property,recorded in Deed Book One thousand
eight hundred sixty-one (1861) ,paze Three hundred ninety-nine
(399) of the Public Records of Dade County Florida: thence
easterly along the said southerly line of the aforementioned
tract a distance of five (5) feet to the point of beginning;
thence northerly along); a line for a distance of three hundred
twelve and seven tenths (312.7) feet, more or less, to the not
of intersection between the northerly line of Government Lot
One (1) , Section Two (2) , Township fifty-three (53) ,South,
Range forty two ( 42) East, and the easterly line of Block
Twenty-nine (29) of the Second Amended Plat of Normandy Beach;
thence easterly along said northerly line of Government Lot
One (1) for a distance of fifty ( 50) feet:thence southerly
along a line parallel with the next to the last mentioned
course for a distance of three hundred twelve and seven tenths
(312.7) feet, more or less, to a point on the said southerly
line of the aforementioned tract; thence westerly along said
southerly line of the aforementioned tract a distance of fifty
(50) feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, as said
Haynsworth Beach Subdivision, Altos Del Mar Number Two, and
the Second Amended Plat of Normandy Beach, are shown on
Plate recorded in Plat Book Forty One (41) , Page Two (2) ,
Plat Book pour (4) , Page One hundred sixty-two, (162) , and in
Plat Book Sixteen (16) Page Forty four (44) , respectively,
of the Public Records of Dade County Florida, and
beginning at a point which is on the westerly line of Byron
Avenue and the northerly line of Haynsworth Beach Subdivision;
thence northerly along a line which is parallel with the
westerly line of the twenty (20) foot alley, lying westerly
of Collins Avenue and in Altos Del Mar Number Two for a
distance of one thousand three hundred thirty five and twenty
seven one hundredths (1335.27) feet, more or less, to a point
on the southerly line of that tract of property recorded in
Deed Book One thousand eight hundred sixty-one (1861) Page
three hundred ninety-nine (399) of the Public Records of
Dade County Florida; thence easterly along the southerly
boundary of the aforementioned tract a distance of sixty
and two one hundredths (60.02) feet to a point; thence southerly
along a line oarallel to the westerly line of the abovementioned
alley a distance of one thousand three hundred thirty five and
forty three one hundredths (1335 .43) feet, more or less, to a
point on the northerly line of Haynsworth Beach Subdivision;
thence westerly along the said northerly line of Haynsworth
Beach Subdivision a distance of sixty and two one hundredths
( 60.02) feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,

as said Byron Avenue and Haynsworth Beach Subdivision are
shown on a plat recorded in Plat Book Forty-One (41) , Page
Two (2) , of the Public Records of Dade County Florida, and
as said alley and Altos Del Mar Number Two are shown in
Plat Book Four (4) , Page One Hundred Sixty-Two (162) , of the
Public Records of Dade County Florida, to be -paved and where
heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of twenty-eight (28)
feet, with a bituminous wearing surface on an eight (8) inch
rock base .
As said Public Thoroughfare is described in deed recorded in
Deed Book Two Thousand One Hundred Forty-Nine (2149) at pages
One Hundred Seventy-Five (175) and One Hundred Seventy-Eight
(178) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts,
etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the -proceedings and work herein provided for: and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each fr1nt foot of abutting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-256, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
desirrnated as district H-256.
