HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion •to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-263 THIRTY-NINTH STREET, From Indian Creek Drive to Collins
Avenue, to be paved, and where heretofore paved to be
repaved to a width of thirty-nine (39) feet with a
bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base,
and improved on both sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street, Avenue and Drive are shown on a Plat
recorded in Plat Book Five ( 5) , Pages Seven (7) and
Eight (8) of the Public Records of Dade County,Florida,
and as said Street is named and desiFmated in Ordinance
No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary
and other surveys, the inspection and su-'erintendence of the work, the
preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing
and publication of notices, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal notices, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the nroceedinms "a.nd work herein pro-
vided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-263, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-263.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF July A.D.1941.
