Resolution 5342 RESOLUTION NO. 5342
WHEREAS, the city Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
have been petitioned to consider the amending, supplementing, changing,
modifying and/or repealing of the regulations , restrictions , and/or
boundaries as provided in Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the
boning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida, as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit :
That Sub-section (2) of Section 17 of Ordinance No. 289 of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, as amended, be amended by
the addition of a Sub-section "h" as follows :
"h. Hedges of living vegetation may be kept and
maintained in the districts described in sub-
paragraphs a, b, c, d, e and f of Sub-section
(2) of Section 17 of Ordinance No. 289, as
amended, with the same limitations, however,
as to the height thereof, as is provided for
in these said sub-paragraphs a, b, c, d, e and
f for walls in said districts, and with the
further limitation of the maintenance and height
thereof as is contained in sub-paragraph "g" of
said sub-section (2) of said Section 17 of said
Ordinance No. 289, as amended. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a public hearing be called
for the 3rd day of September, 1941, at 10:00 o' clock A. M. ,
Council Chambers at the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, in the
purpose as above set forth, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that notice of the time, place and
object of such hearing be published as is provided by said Ordinance.
