RESOLUTION
RESOLUTION NO. 5344
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-265 H-265
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-265 FOURTEENTH LANE, From Ocean Court to Ocean Drive ,
to be paved, and where heretofore naved to be re-
paved to a width of nineteen and one-half (19 )
feet with a bituminous wearing surface on an eight (9 )
inch rock base, and improved on the south side with a
concrete curb .
As said Lane, Court and Drive are shown on a Plat re-
corded in Plat Book Nine (9) , Page Seventy-three (73)
and Plat Book Two (2) , Page Fifty-six ( 56) of the
Public Redords of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Ocean Court is named and designated by vote of City
Council August 15, 1934, and as said Fourteenth Lane
is named and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of
the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary and
other surveys, the inspection andsuperintendence of the work, the prepara-
tion of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publica-
tion of notices, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and
proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein .provided for ; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-265, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-265.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 8th DAY OF August, A.D. 1941.
