A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA, EXPRESSING SYMPATHY ON
THE DEATH OF OUR ESTEEMED FELLOW
CITIZEN, THOMAS J. PANCOAST,
PIONEER OF MIAMI BEACH,
4 EREAS, God in His infinite wisdom did on September 16,
1941, A. D. , take from our midst our esteemed friend and
fellow citizen of Miami Beach, THOMAS J. PANCOAST, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach recognizes the Christian
character, the kindly spirit, the leadership, the unconquer-
able courage and the innate love for his fellow man, of
THOMAS J. PANCOAST, and also recognizes his untiring efforts
for the benefit of this community,the years of effort and
leadership in civic endeavors for the upbuilding of this
City, and for the betterment of his fellow man,
NOW, THER;FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we hereby express our
heartfelt sympathy to the family and to the community so
cherished and dear to THOMAS J. PAwCOAST, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution be spread on a
special page of our minute record, and that a copy be sent
to the immediate family of our late friend and fellow
citizen, THOMAS J. PANCOAST.
PASSED AND UNANIMOUSLY ADOPTED on this the 2nd day of
Oetobe'r, -, A. D. , 1941.
