Resolution 5348 RESOLUTION NO. 5348
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certifi-
cate of the Inspectors and Clerk who conducted the Primary
Election held August 28th, 1941, for the election of a Trus-
tee for Group 1 of the Employees Retirement System of the
City of Miami Beach, in accordance with the provisions of
Resolution No. 5317, as passed and adopted by the City
Council on July 16th, 1941, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said
returns and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
said City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the
result of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the
Trustee from Group 1 elected to the Board of the Employees
Retirement System to be as follows :
GROUP 1 : E. D. Carpenter (Elected by 74 votes out
of a total of 96 votes
cast, being a clear
majority at the Primary
Election. )
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd; day of October, A. D. , 1941.
