passed the City Council, by resolution and adopted
on the 8th day of August, 1941, ordered the Highway Improvement
H-264, District H-264, and has prepared and filed with the City
Clerk plans and specifications of such improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the in-
cidental expenses of said improvement, and whereas due notice by
publication as required by the City Charter has been made that the
City Council would on the 20th day of August, 1941, at the City
Hall in said City at 10:00 o' clock A. NI. , receive and hear objec-
tions of all persons interested to the confirmation of said resolu-
tion ordering said improvement, and said hearing was continued
to this meeting, and no objections having been presented at the
times and place aforesaid,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, that the said resolution of said City Council
ordering said Highway Improvement IH-264, District H-264, be and the
same is hereby confirmed, and an appropriation of $5,201.90 is hereby
authorized to be set up from Budgetary Item 431-P, the City Council
hereby declaring its intention to proceed with City forces without
contract.
