Resolution 5413 RESOLUTION NO. 5413
WHEREAS, there has been recently created by the United
States Government an Agency to promote a long range program
of public works throughout the nation, said Agency to be
known as the Public Work Reserve, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, together with all
other municipalities and political units throughout the country
is being asked to cooperate in this long range program,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, thRt we do hereby endorse
this movement as being in the public interest and hereby signi-
fy our wholehearted willingness to cooperate in such a plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he
is hereby authorized to work with the Federal authorities
in the promotion of this Public Works Reserve as it applies
to our community.
