HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-271 THE ALLEY BETWEEN ALTON ROAD AND LENOX AVENUE,
From Seventeenth (17th) Street to Collins Canal,
to be raved, and where heretofore paved to be
repaved, to a width of twenty (20) feet with
a bituminous wearing surface on an eight (9)
inch rock base.
As said Alley, Road and Avenue are shown on
a Plat recorded in Plat Book 6, Pages 29 and
30, of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and an
estimate of the cost of the preliminary and other surveys, the
inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of
plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest
during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for ; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-271, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District H-271.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF December,A.D. 1941.
