Resolution 5423 RESOLUTION NO. 542
WHEREAS, the home of our friend and colleague,
William Burbridge, has just been saddened by the untime-
ly passing of his beloved wife, and
WHEREAS, Mrs . Mary Coachman Burbridge, a member of
one of our pioneer Florida families, was a most charming
and beloved character and her loss will be felt by her
many friends in Miami Beach and throughout the State,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that this Body does
hereby express to Mr. Burbridge and his son, William, Jr. ,
our heartfelt sympathy in this their hour of sadness, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be spread upon the minute record of this Body and that a
suitable copy hereof be forthwith presented to the bereaved
family by the City Clerk.
