in 1916, went to fisher and asked for job. worked dawn to after
dark. when road building cut across land, suto followed
silently planting things. 20s sent suto back to japan to find
wife. masa, daught of silk merchant. learned english. fisher
gave small tract of land and suto went into own nursey biz.
while selling, he also save free plants. (prairie avenue) .
trained dozen of gardners, serviced estates. special

he and partner tashiro. thru adv in metro in 1916 . worked for
