Resolution 5521 RESOLUTION NO. 5521
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is operating
a municipal golf course known as Normandy Isle Golf
Course at which a fixed charge is made for green fees ;
and
Wh REAS the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach feels that special consideration should be given
to uniform men of the Service of the United States and
to the employees of the City of Miami Beach throughout
the Summer months,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a fifty (50%)
per cent reduction in green fees be and the same is hereby
granted to uniform men of the Service of the United States
and to all employees of the City of Miami Beach during the
period beginning May 1st, 1942, and ending October 31st ,
1942.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of
this Resolution be furnished by the City Clerk to the
Golf Course Manager.
