RESOLUTION NO. 5551
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 639 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, provides that on the 1st Monday in June of every year
the Tax Assessor shall meet with the City Council for the
purpose of hearing complaints and receiving testimony as to the
value of any property, real or personal, as fixed by the City
Tax Assessor, and for the purpose of perfecting, reviewing
• and equalizin€; the assessment; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 639 further provides that
the City Council may, if they deem it necessary, extend the time
for the purpose of reviewing and equalizing the assessment not
exceeding thirty (30) days; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of r«iami Beach,
Florida, deems it necessary and for the best interest of the
City that said time be extended,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the time for reviewing
and equalizing the assessment of the City of Miami Beach for
the year 1942, be and the same is hereby extended for a period
of thirty (30) days from the first Iuonday in June, A. ll. , 1942.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, A. D. , 1942.
