Resolution 5587 RESOLJTIC iC. 5587.
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of July, 1935, FLAMINGO ADDITION,
INC. , conveyed to the City of Miami Beach certain property located
in said City and described as Lot 7 of Block 4 of Flamingo Terrace
Addition, the conveyance contemplating the construction of a bridge
over the water way adjoining said property; and
WHEREAS, said City has heretofore constructed a bridge
across said water way for pedestrian traffic only and Flamingo Addi-
tion, Inc. , contends that a vehicular bridge was contemplated; and
oliER,I,AS the City 'ouncil deems it to the best interest of
the said City to compromise the matter and to avoid litigation,
k,OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the il,'iayor and City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized to execute a Special Oarranty Deed to
the said Flamingo Addition, Inc. , on behalf of the City of .,liami
Beach, as to the following described parcel of land, to-wit :
it :
Lot Seven (7) , Block Four (4) , 40LA-INGO TERRACE ADDITION,
as per Plat recorded in Plat Book Thirty-four (34) , page
Sixty-eight (68) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, less the following described t ract :
Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of Lot Six (6) ,
Block Four (4) , FLAMINGO TERRACE ADDITION, as per Plat
recorded in Flat Book Thirty-four (34) , page Sixty-eight
(60) of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
thence Southerly along the Westerly line of said 3lock
Four (4) a distance of Sixty-nine (69) feet to the point
of beginning of the tract described herein. From the
point of beginning continue Southerly along the said
Westerly line of Block Four (4) a distanceofFifty-
eight ( 58) feet, more or less, to a point, said point
being the intersection of the said ':1esterly line of
Block Four (4) and a line parallel to and Nineteen ( 19)
feet Southerly from the Southerly line of said Lot Six
(6) ; thence Easterly along the said line parallel to
and Nineteen ( 19) feet Southerly from the Southerly line
of Lot Six (6) a distance of One Hundred Thirty ( 130)
feet, more or less, to the seawall; thence Northeasterly
along the seawall for a distance of twenty-four (24)
feet, more or less, to the said Southerly line of Lot
Six (6) ; thence Westerly along the said Southerly line
of Lot Six (6) a distance of One Hundred Forty-One and
-
Fifty-five one-hundredths ( 141.55) feet, more or less,
to the point of beginning.
