Resolution 5591 RESOLUTION No. 5591
WHEREAS, the United States Government has been and now
is using portions of Flamingo Fark and certain buildings and
equipment located therein and thereon for Air Corps activities
and recreational facilities, together with other National Defense
requirements of the War Department; and
WHEREAS, the Government now proposes to enter into a
written lease covering certain portions of said Park and certain
buildings and personal property located therein and thereon, copy
of said proposed lease, together with the map attached thereto,
and made a part thereof, now being in the files of the City Clerk
with other data concerning this meeting of the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that the exe-
cution of said lease will be to the best interest of the Nation
and of the City of Miami Beach,
NOW, Tti R 'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of kiami Beach, Florida, that the kayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said lease for and on behalf of the City of i'iami Beach as Lessor.
