Resolution 5611 RESOLUTION NO. 5611
WHEREAS, the United States of America has now
under consideration the leasing from the City of Miami Beach
of that portion of the City Park on Ocean Drive lying between
2nd and 3rd Streets and described as Lots 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8,
Block 114, Ocean Beach Addition No. 4; and
WHEREAS, the Government has requested that the City
of Miami Beach grant to the Government an option to lease said
property for the sun-i of „J.00 per annum for the period beginning
November 5th, 1942 and ending June 30th, 1943; and
WHERLAS, the Government has requested that the City of
Miami Beach grant to said. Government a permit for the occupancy
of said property pending the execution of said lease; and
WHERJ AS, a copy of the proposed option for lease and
a copy of the proposed occupation permit have been read to the
City Council and are now in the files of the City Clerk,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute
said option and said occupation permit for and on behalf of said
City.
