Resolution 5619 RESOLUTION NO. 5619 iiflE -AS, the City 'ouncil of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, heretofore passed and adopted, effective as of June. 1st , 1941, Ordinance No. 604, by the provisions of which a fireman with more than four (4) years of service should receive a maximum salary of y205.00 per month; and WHEREAS, R. E. Dabney, now employed and classified as a Signal System Lineman, had more than four (4) years of ser- vice on June 1st, 1941, but has received only 4185.00 per month as salary for the period beginning June 1st , 1941, and ending on October 31st, 1942; and WhERzAS, the Personnel Board has recommended to the City Manager and the City Council that the maximum pay for Signal System Lineman be made to conform to the maximum pay for firemen and that the salary of the said R. c:. Dabney be adjusted to said maximum as of the effective date of said Ordinance No. 604, to-wit : June 1st, 1941; and WHEREAS, the City Council is of the opinion that said recommendation should be followed; and WHEREAS, the City Council has this day passed, upon first and second reading, an ordinance effective as of November 1st , 1942, which provides for maximum salary for i ;nal System Lineman in the sum of 4225.50 per month, which said salary is iden- tical to that now paid to firemen, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City ,,ouncil of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay to R. E. Dabney, out of the funds of said City of Miami Beach, available for such purposes, the sum of x340.00 representing x20.00 per month for the period be- ginning June 1st, 1941, and ending October 31st, 1942.
