ihtH R.t.;AS, the United States of America has heretofore
allocated a grant of x„26,500.00 to the City of Miami Beach, 2lorida,
to aid in making alterations and constructing additions to the building
located at No. 1 Biscayne Street, Miami Beach, .Florida, known as Project
Fla. 8-249, the total cost of said Project at the time of said alloca-
tion being estimated at 134,500.00; and
11)211S, due to the increase in cost of construction,
a contract for said work has this day been let to the low bidder in
the amount of 0,500.00; and
a�iL ,! tiS, additional work and equipment will be needed in
connection with said Project, the estimated cost of which is .x8,500.00
which will bring the total cost of the Project to 049,000.00,

the City of iviiami Beach, Florida, that the City '`,Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to file the necessary applications with
the Federal ';-orks Agency for an additional allotment in the amount of
14,500.00 (of which ,;4,000.00 will be supplied by the City) which
additional allotment will increase the allotment for the Project from
y,34,500.00 to ,;; 49,000.00 and will increase the grant from .,26,5u0.00
to .;;;37,000.00 and will increase the amount supplied by the City from
y8,000.00 to ,y12,000.00.
