A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING AND DESIGNATING
CLERKS AND INSPECTORS FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD
ON APRIL 9th, 1946.
WHEREAS, for the purpose of holding and conducting the Special Election to
be held on April 9th, 1946, the City has been divided into eight voting precincts
or election districts, numbered 25 to 32, inclusive, the boundaries of said pre-
cincts or districts having been officially described in Resolution No. 5954 as
passed and adopted by the City Council on March 7th, 1946; and
WHEREAS, official notice of said election is being published pursuant to
the provisions of Resolution No. 5954, passed and adopted by the City Council on
March 7th, 1946,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BELCH,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding and conducting the said Special
Election on April 9th, 1946, eight election bo,srds be provided, the registration
books of said City be divided into eight parts corresponding to the voting pre-
cincts or election districts as heretofore designated, and that for said purpose
Clerks and Inspectors be and they are hereby appointed and designated as follows:

Frank Lewis, be and he is hereby appointed, custodian of the voting machines to
be used in this election.
SECTION 2: That notice of the foregoing appointments be given by pub-
lishing in the Miami Beach Sun and Miami Beach Daily Tropics, a newspaper pub-
lished in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, at least fifteen days before the day
of the holding of said election.
