HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its inten-
tion to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-281 Indian Creek Drive from Twenty-sixth (26th) Street to
Fortieth (40th) Street, to be paved and where hereto-
fore paved to be repaved to a width of forty (4O) feet
with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch
rock base; together with necessary drainage, sewer
inlets, manholes and catch basins, and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Streets and Drive are shown on Plat recorded in
Plat Book Five (5) at pages Seven ( 7) and Eight (8) of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
streets are named and designated in City of Miami Beach
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to 'prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof , including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
and any other expenses necessary and propel in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-281; and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for law cost thereof shall be designated
as District H-281.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th DAY OF March, A.D. 1946.
