HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is here-
by ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its in-
tention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-280 Everglades Concourse from Indian Creek to Rue
Versailles, Normandy Drive from Bay Drive to Rue
Versailles, and Rue Vendome from Everglades
Concourse to Normandy Drive, to be paved, and
where heretofore paved, to be repaved, to a
width of sixty (60) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base,
togetherwith necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins , and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Streets, Highways and Creek are shown on
Plat recorded in Plat Book Twenty-five (25) ,
Page Sixty (60) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said ptreets and highways
are named and designated in City of Miami Beach
Ordinance No. 53g.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an esti-
mate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications
and estimates, the printing end publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legel services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the esti-
mated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-280, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-280.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th DAY OF March, A.P. 1946.
