Resolution 5988 RESOLUTION NO. 5988
WHEREAS, Lloyd A. Towle, as Trustee, has offered to sell
and convey to the City of Miami Beach, for the cash sum of
16, 500.00, the following described lands, situate in Miami Beach,
Florida , to-wit:
Lots Seven (7) and Eight (B) of Block 38,
PALM VIEW SUBDIVISION, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 6, at page 29, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
subject only to conditions , restrictions and limitations of record,
zoning ordinances of the City of Miami Beach, and taxes for the
year 1946, which are to be pro-rated as of the date of closing,
and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be for the best interest of said
City to acquire said land at said price for the purpose of off-street
parking,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said offer be and the same is
hereby accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed, in the name of and on behalf of
said City, to purchase said property at said price upon approval
of the title by the City Attorney.
