HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-27$ H-278
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAII BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
orderedto be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-278 PURDY AVENUE, BAY ROAD AND WEST AVENUE From Dade
Boulevard to Twentieth (20th) Street; 18TH STREET
from Purdy Avenue to West Avenue: 2CTH STREET From
Purdy Avenue to North Bay Road; NORTH BAY ROAD from
19th Street to 20th Street, to be paved, and where
heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of fifty
(50) feet with a bituminous wearing surface on a
ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets and
catch basins, and improved on both sides with a
concrete curb and gutter.
As said Avenues , Road, . Streets and Boulevard are
shown on Plate recorded in Plat Book Six (6) , Page
One Hundred fifteen (115) and Plat Book Nine (9) ,
Page One Hundred Forty-six (146) , and Plat Book ine
Page One Hundred forty-four (144) and Plat Book
Twenty-one (21) , Page Thirty (30) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation
of Plans and Specifications and estimates, the printinf and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-278; and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-27S.
