HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
H-283 Collins Court from Biscayne Street to Espanola Way
to be paved, and where heretofore paved to be repaved
to a width of twenty ( 20) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base, and
improved in the center with a concrete gutter,
together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets, manholes
and catchbasins.
As said Court , Street and 'ray are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Two (2) . Page Thirty-eight
(.38) , Plat Book Four (4) , Page Eighty-three (83) ,
Plat Book Three (3) , Page Eleven (11) , Plat Book
Two (2) , Page Fifty-six (56) and Plat Book Seven
( 7) , Page One hundred forty-five (145) , of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and as said
Collins Court is named and designated in Ordinances
No. 472 and 512 and as Biscayne Street is named and
designated in Ordinance No. 232 of the City of Miami
Beach.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City
Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the
cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of preliminary and other
surveys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation
of plans and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Highway Improvement H-283, and the property against which assess-
ments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as
District H-283.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS l7th nqY OF April A.D. 1946.
