Resolution 6022 RESOLUTION NO. 6022
WHEREAS, there is now before the United States District
Engineer an application for approval of revised drawings
covering a proposed extension to Permit No. 4814, proposed land-
point in Biscayne Bay north of Biscayne Point, Miami Beach,
Florida, and
WHEREAS, the proposed work and extension would interfere
with navigation, injure the beauty of Biscayne Bay, and inter-
fere with pleasure boating and fishing, and
WHEREAS, the application does not provide for bulkheading
around the proposed fill which will result in erosion of the
filled lands and the depositing of spoil in the Bay to form
shoals,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a protest be and the same
is hereby made against the approval of said revised drawings.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to mail a certified copy of this resolution to
the United States District Engineer.
