Resolution 6024 RESOLUTION NO. 6024
WHEREAS, it has always been the policy of this Council
to withhold endorsement on applications before the Florida
State Railroad Commission for certificates of public
convenience and necessity, and
WHEREAS, this Body did endorse the application of Miami
Beach Airline, Inc. for a certificate of public convenience
and necessity by the passage, on May 15th, 1946, of Resolution
No. 6020, and
WHEREAS, after reconsideration it is now our opinion that
our action in this endorsement was too hastily taken and was
not in line with our usual policy, and that said action should
be rescinded;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said Resolution No. 6020
be and the same is hereby rescinded.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16th day of May, A. D. 1946.
