BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the President and Congress of
the United States of America be and they are hereby urged
to take whatever steps are necessary to expedite the ad-
mission to Palestine of 100,000 long-suffering and per-
secuted European Jews, in accordance with the recommendation
heretofore made by the Anglo-American Committee of Inquiry
on Palestine.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be forwarded to the President of the United States of
America, the Secretary of State, and the Senators and Repre-
sentatives of Florida in the United States Congress.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 17th day of July, A. D. 1946.
