Resolution 6068 RESOLUTION NO. 6068
WHEREAS, the Civil Aeronautics Administration has requested the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, to enter into a lease with the United
States of America, as Lessor, covering those certain premises,
situate in said City, described as follows, to-wit:
All that certain tract or parcel of land lying and being
in the 27th Section, Township 53S, Range 42E, Dade County,
Florida, being on the Miami Beach Municipal Golf Course,
property of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and more
fully described as follows: Commencing at the
northeasterly corner of Block Two (2) , Mid Golf Subdivi-
sion of Miami Beach Bay Shore Company, being a subdivision
located in Sections Twenty-seven (27) and Thirty-four (34) ,
Township Fifty-three (53) South, Range Forty-two (42) East,
Dade County, Florida and recorded in Plat Book Four (4)
at Page Two Hundred (200) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida; thence southerly along the easterly line
of saiBlock Two (2) a distance of three hundred eighty-
two and no tenths (382.0) feet to a :point; thence easterly
along a line deflecting to the left ninety-four (94) degrees
thirty-two (32) minutes thirty (30) seconds, from the last
mentioned course, a distance of five hundred twelve and
fifty-five one-hundredths (512.55) feet to the point of
beginning; thence easterly along the last mentioned course
a distance of seventy and five-tenths (70.5) feet to a
point; thence southerly along a line deflecting to the
right ninety (90) degrees from the last mentioned course a
distance of thirty-one and no-tenths (31.0) feet to a point;
thence westerly along a line deflecting to the right ninety
(90) degrees from the last mentioned course, a distance of
seventy and five-tenths (70.5) feet to a point; thence
northerly along a line deflecting to the right ninety (90)
degrees from the last mentioned course, a distance of
thirty-one and no tenths (31.0) feet o the point of
beginning, said tract containing forty-eight thousandths
(0.048) acres, more or less.
and
WHEREAS, the form of a proposed lease has been submitted to the
City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, said City Council deems it to the best interest of said
City to execute said lease,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and City Clerk be
and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute said
lease on behalf of and in the name of said City.
