Resolution 5693 RESOLUTION NO. 5693
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the
Inspectors and Clerk who conducted the Primary Election held
August 3rd, 1943, for the election of a Trustee for Group 2
of the Employees Retirement System of the City of Miami
Beach, in accordance with the provisions of Resolution No.
5689, as passed and adopted by the City Council on July 21st,
1943, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
said City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the
result of said Primary Election, and do hereby declare the
Trustee from Group 2 elected to the Board of the Employees Re-
tirement System to be as follows:
GROUP 2: D. J. Cleary (Elected by 34 votes out
of a total of 38 votes
cast, being a clear major-
ity at the Primary Election)
PASSED AND ADOPTED this day of October, A. D. , 1943•/
