Resolution 5706 RESOLUTION NO. 5706
WHEREAS, on the 28th day of July, A. D. 1942, the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, passed and
adopted Resolution No. 5590 and therein authorized the City
Manager to sign and to submit , on behalf of the City of Miami
Beach, a bid by the terms of which said City should offer to
lease class room space located on the second floor of the Miami
Beach Public Library Building to the War Department of the
United States at an annual rental of One (41.00) Dollar, for
occupancy beginning May 24th, 1942; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution said bid was signed
by said City Manager on behalf of said City and thereafter an
acknowledgment of the acceptance thereof was signed on behalf
of said City by Herbert A. Frink, Acting Mayor,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the aforesaid acts done
and performed on behalf of said City, by said City Manager and
by said Acting Mayor, be and the same are hereby ratified and
confirmed in every respect.
PASSED and ADOPTED this lat day of December, A. D. 1943.
