Resolution 5708 RESOLUTION NO. 57O
WHEREAS, Greater Miemi has developed into one
of the nation' s principal terminals for foreign and
domestic air travel, and
WHEREAS, more than half of all foreign air travel
to And from the United Stater enters and leaves Miami,
and
WHEREAS, additional transportation facilities
are greatly needed to augment increased air traffic to
and from Miami ,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City
Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the
United States Civil Aeronautics Board be urged to approve
a proposed air route +'rom Miami to Detroit , Michigan.
