RESOLUTION NO. 5721
willEAS, PLACER DEVELOPMENT CORP. , owner of that
certain land situate, lying andbeing in the County of
Dade and State of Florida, known and described as :
"From the Northeast corner of Section 29,
Township 53 South, Range 42 East , run
South 1 degree 37 minutes 08 seconds East ,
778.29 feet along the Section line between
Sections 28 and 29 to point of beginning;
thence run South, 88 degrees 39 minutes 28
seconds West, 1000 feet ; thence run South,
1 degree 37 minutes 08 seconds East , 4200
feet ; thence run North, 88 degrees 39 minutes
28 seconds East, 1060 feet ; thence run North,
1 degree 37 minutes 08 seconds West,4200 feet;
thence run South, 88 degrees 39 minutes 28
seconds Nest , 60 feet to point of beginning;
containing 102.2 acres, more or less, lying
and being in Sections 28 and 29, township 53
South, Range 42 East . "
have offered to said City for the sum of Ten (;10.00)
Dollars, an option to purchase said lands , copy of which
said option is hereto attached; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be to the best interest of
the City of Miami Beach to accept the said offer and to
acquire the said Option,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said offer be and the
same is hereby accepted and the City I4_anager and the City
Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to
acquire the said option by the payment to Placer Development
Corp. for and on behalf of said City, of the sum of 4,10.00
from funds of said City available for such purpose.
