A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING AND DESIGNATING
CLERKS AND INSPECTORS FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD
ON APRIL 4th, 1944
WHEREAS, for the purpose of holding and conducting the Special
Bond Election to be held on April 4th, 1944, the City has been divided
into nine voting precincts or election districts, numbered 24 to 32,
inclusive, the boundaries of said precincts or districts having been
officially described in Resolution No. 5717 as passed and adopted by
the City Council on March 1st, 1944; and
WHEREAS, official notice of said election is being published
pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 5717, passed and adopted
by the City Council on March 1st , 1944,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding and conducting the
said Special Bond Election on April 4th, 1944, nine election boards
be provided, the registration books of said City be divided into nine
parts corresponding to the voting precincts or election districts as
heretofore designated, and that for said purpose Clerks and Inspectors
be and they are hereby appointed and designated as follows:

That A. M. Wigginton be, and he is hereby appointed, custodian of
the voting machines to be used in this election.
SECTION 2. That notice of the foregoing appointments be given
by publishing in The Miami Beach Sun & Daily Tropics, a newspaper
published in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, at least fifteen days
before the day of the holding of said election.
