Resolution 5730 RESOLUTION NO. 5730
WHEREAS, on or about the 22nd day of March, A. D. 1944,
a certain Mercury Sedan owned by the City of Miami Beach was
damaged by reason of the negligent operation of a truck
driven by Mrs. Mollie Saslaw; and
WHEREAS, the insurer of said truck has offered to pay
the City of Miami Beach the full amount of said damage, to-wit :
the sum of Sixteen and Seventy-five one-hundredths ( $16.75)
Dollars, provided, however, that the proper release is executed
by said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to execute a full
satisfaction and discharge of all claims accruing, or to accrue,
arising out of said accident , and deliver said release upon the
payment to said City of the sum of $16. 75.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 19th day of April, A. D. 1944.
