A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ACTING CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE
APPLICATIONS TO THE WAR DEPARTMENT
OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That Claude A. Renshaw, Acting City Engineer of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to make application to the War Department of the
United States of America for the necessary permits to lay and
install such pipes at the bridges which are part of the North
Bay Causeway as may be necessary in the construction of the
proposed water main across said causeway and to make applica-
tion to said War Department for permission to lay such under-
water pipes as may be necessary to make connections for the
water supply from Normandy Isle to LaGorce Island in said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of June, A. D. 1944.
