Resolution 5746 RESOLUTION NO. 5746
WHEREAS, confusion and uncertainty has been caused
in connection with the designation of holidays for the
employees of the City of Miami Beach, Florida; and
WHEREAS, on several occasions the designation of
holidays has been postponed until the day before such
holiday, thus making it impossible for the employees to
make plans for recreation or amusement,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the holidays
granted to the employees of said City shall be as follows:
New Year' s Day
Memorial Day (May 30th)
Fourth of July
Labor Day
Armistice Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of June, A. D. 1944.
