Resolution 5757 RESOLUTION NO. 5757
WHEREAS, The City of Miami Beach heretofore procured
an option agreement for the purchase of -crooerty located in
said City and known as Bayshore Golf Course, for the total
purchase price of $92.0,000.00, and
WHEREAS, the freeholders of said City, at an election
duly held, have approved the issuance of $920,000.00 of bonds
for the purpose of acquiring said property, which bonds have
been validated by decrees of the Circuit Court and affirmed
by the Supreme Court, and
WHEREAS, said option agreement provided that written
notice of the exercise thereof should be given on or before
August 15th, 1944.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach that the Mayor and the City Clerk
be and they are hereby authorized and directed to serve written
notice of the exercise of said option for and on behalf of said
City as in said option agreement provided.
