Resolution 5766 RESOLUTION NO. 5766
WHEREAS, there has been submitted to the City Council
of Miami Beach, Florida, the Certificate of the Inspectors
and Clerk who conducted the Primary Election held July 21,
1944, the Election held July 28, 1944 and the further Elec—
tion held August 18, 1944 by reason of a tie vote in the
preceding election, all for the election of a Trustee for
Group 1 of the Employees Retirement System of the City of
Miami Beach, in accordance with the provisions of Resolution
No. 5750 as passed and adopted by the City Council on July
5, 1944 and Resolution No. 5758 as passed and adopted by the
City Council on August 7, 1944, and
WHEREAS, the said City Council has canvassed said returns
and certificate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by theCity Council of said
City that they hereby adopt the said Certificate as the result
of said Election held August 18, 1944, and do hereby declare
the Trustee from Group 1 elected to the Board of the Employees
Retirement System to be as follows :
GROUP 1: A. J. Craig
PASSED and ADOPTED this 23d day of August, A. D. 1944.
