Resolution 5775 RESOLUTION NO. 5775
WHEREAS, the United States of America has heretofore, to-wit :
on April 7th, 1944, taken possession of that certain hospital pro-
perty located in the City of Miami Beach and owned by the City of
Miami Beach, described as follows :
Lots 23 to 26, inclusive, of Block
2, AMENDED FLEETWOOD SUBDIVISION,
according to the Plat thereof, re-
corded in Flat Book 28, at page 34,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and certain articles of
personal property located therein
and thereon,
and to purchase from the City of Miami Beach, other articles of
personal property located therein and thereon; and
WHEREAS, said United States of America has prepared a proposed
lease dated April 7, 1944, to which is attached an inventory of the
personal property to be purchased and an inventory of the personal
property to be leased; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has examined said proposed lease and
the inventories attached thereto as aforesaid, and deems it to the
best interest of the City of Miami Beach to enter into saidlease
and to make said sale,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they hereby are authorized and directed to execute for and on behalf
of the City of Miami Beach, said lease to the United States of
America .
PASSED and. ADOPTED this 8th day of November, A. D. 1944.
