RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ISSUANCE OF A DUPLICATE
TAX SALE CERTIFICATE.
WHEREAS, it has been made to appear that that certain Tax
Sale Certificate, issued by the City of Miami Beach to C. A. Maher,
in the face amount of 145.00, dated September 5, 1932, bearing
No. 1070, covering delinquent taxes for the year 1931, has been
lost or destroyed; and
WHEREAS, Katherine L. Fitzpatrick alleges that she is the
equitable owner of said lost or destroyed Tax Sale Certificate aria
has requested the issuance of a duplicate in lieu thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized to issue a duplicate of said Tax Sale Certificate to
C. A. Maher upon the said Katherine L. Fitzpatrick filing with the
City Clerk, a bond in the sum of Two Hundred Ninety ( 290.00) Dollars,
duly executed by the said Katherine L. Fitzpatrick, but without
sureties, said bond to indemnify the City of Miami Beach against all
loss or damage which may be sustained by reason of the issuance of
said duplicate Certificate.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 15th day of November, A. D. 1944.
